All posts by Daisies At Dawn

I'm Daisy. Daisy the dancer. But I'm also Daisy the blogger, Daisy the massage therapist, Daisy the writer, Daisy the nanny (yes, yes, believe it or not, people entrust me with their small children)... I don't know if you can tell, but I like to keep busy. If you're reading this, I can only assume you stumbled upon my blog site somehow as a happy accident (lucky you)! I can also assume that there's a 95% chance you are in the dancing, performance or fitness industry (or something similar). Why do I make this assumption? Well, it makes sense; dance, fitness and health are all things I know and love - which of course urges me to write about them! So I'm guessing it was this kind of content which prompted you to click on a like and to take a peek at my blog (which is basically like looking directly in to my brain - I write what I think, like word vomit on a page!). However, I could be completely wrong and you could be a muggle (non stagey folk) and it was one of my other articles that caught your eye - because sometimes I do like to branch out a little! Anyway, don't let me keep you, feel free to continue your explorations! I would also not object to any liking, sharing or following you feel inclined to do, so please, by all means, like, share and follow away! Ooooh and also, if you do wan't to get in touch, for whatever reason, don't hesitate to do that either! Big thanks to anyway who is reading and supporting me, to you, I am truly grateful! Huge love, hugs, world peace and All That Jazz (ooof, horrible pun!) to you all, Daisy x Daisy x

The Camping Diaries Of A London Girl: Africa Edition

Camping - it's not for everyone. When I told people I was going on a 19 day camping trip across Africa, from those that know me well, I got a similar response. "Camping? You? That's not a very Daisy thing to do!". And they are right, I wouldn't call myself a total snob but I ...

Keeping fit in Cape Town

I kick started my 6 week African Adventure off with a short but sweet stay in the beautiful Cape Town. I promise you - this place is one for the bucket list. A city with everything - one minute you're in the mountains, the next you're along the beach, and then you find yourself in ...

Thoughts We All Have During Yoga

Yoga. The perfect ‘you’ time. As soon as you are on that mat, you can cleanse yourself of any negative thoughts, focus on your practice and breathing, and leave feeling elevated and at peace. Well - that’s how it should be anyway. In reality, the entire class is spent with a million and one busy ...

Overcoming Life Anxiety

As you may have read before in my previous posts, I’m an anxiety sufferer. And sometimes it can be almost crippling. Anxiety is quite a contradictory feeling - the mind is alive with thoughts, feelings and ideas and yet the thought of putting anything in to action gives you such nauseating heart palpitations that ...

Things I’ve Learnt From Online App Dating

App dating. It’s one of those things; you can’t judge it until you’ve given it a go. As weird as it sounds, it actually taught me quite a lot. It brought to my attention aspects of myself that I didn’t realise and taught me how to overcome them. It taught me social skills that I ...

How To Be Happy

Today’s post is a little different, and prompted by a very, very good friend of mine who has started a journey, which I very much want to share with you all. When you think about it, the fact that we spend out lives striving for happiness, is a bit of an odd concept. You’d think ...

Conquer Your Workout With The Power Of Tee’s!

Ladies, this one’s for you! As always, I have a discovery I want to share, but I also have a little treat for my lovely readers (by way of apology for being totally off radar for the last few weeks!) If I gave you 3 guesses what this post was about - well… you wouldn’t ...

Namaste Bitches, Love From Gatwick Airport

‘Rise and Shine! It’s 3.45am and you’ve got a flight to catch!’ Is what my alarm was basically saying as it trilled loudly in my face this morning. Normally I’m getting home at that time, not waking up! BUT, even though I’ve only had roughly about an hour and half broken sleep, I’ve got a ...

Well, That Escalated Quickly…

I have something to confess to you all. This is simultaneously good and bad news so you might wanna prepare for this. Did you read my last dating post, To Be Continued? Well this is part 2. And what can I say, I don’t want to use the B word just yet, but it’s going ...
